Since 2002, the craft has been refined across weddings, engagement parties, corporate events, milestone birthdays, bars and nightclubs, every kind of crowd, every kind of moment. That range matters. A wedding crowd isn't a nightclub crowd, and reading the difference is everything.
Knowing how to time a first dance so it lands, how to coax a shy crowd onto the floor, when to build momentum and when to let a moment breathe, that instinct isn't something you can fake or shortcut. It comes from hundreds of nights, across every kind of room, learning what makes a dancefloor come alive and what kills the energy before it starts.

Jack's love for music and creating memorable experiences began in Melbourne back in 2002, when he launched his DJ career as a mobile DJ. Over the years he built a reputation performing across a wide range of events, from intimate engagement parties and milestone birthdays to weddings, corporate functions, bars, and nightclubs. It was a career driven by passion, and it showed in every set.
In 2018, Jack made the decision to step back from the industry. As his corporate career continued to grow and demand more of his focus, DJing took a back seat but the love for music never faded.
Then came a change of scenery. In 2019, a new corporate opportunity brought Jack north to Brisbane, a city that quickly became home. With that fresh start came a renewed sense of purpose.
In 2026, Jack founded River City Wedding DJ, a natural coming together of his years of professional DJ experience and his deep understanding of what makes a special occasion truly unforgettable. Drawing on over a decade of hands-on experience across every kind of event, Jack is now focused exclusively on what he does best: making wedding days sound incredible.
